Day 9 & 10 We went back to Bar Carribean Queen both days but it just was not the same without our favorite waiter but we still managed to enjoy our selves. We also went and tried a taco (tacqueria) on the corner just before the baseball field. It is called La Curva, the tacos here were to die for. We found these better than the ones at the baseball field. The choice of toppings seemed better and the prices are so so so reasonable. 9 pesos per taco and 12 pesos for a beer. We ended going here every day for a snack before supper. We were getting to know the two ladies that work there. They are so nice and friendly, they dont know barely any english but we managed some how to communicate. I cant wait till next year to have these tacos.
Day 11- We had booked a tour with cancun valet to go to Chichen Itza. Our driver picked us up and had snacks and drinks in the cooler. Took us to Chichen Itza and we had gone early in the day. A good thing, they are not kidding that it gets busy later on in the day. Also it was getting hot too. Our driver took us to a cenote and then home. Our driver was friendly, knew very good English and was knowlegeable. He also took us to a place for a buffet, we asked our driver to join us and we paid for his meal as well. It just didnt seem right not to include him after the amazing job he was doing for us. We went to a restaurant that had a blue marlin on the wall that starts with a C (Conchocho's i think) This is another wonderful restaurant. Reasonably priced and good food and wonderful service.
